Dear Mr Tim Burton,
My name is Aime (pronounce informally ‘Amy’ as I do not often go by it’s correct pronunciation for personal reasons). I am a 20-year-old drawing and photography enthusiast who recently had the pleasure of visiting your exhibition held at the ACMI in Melbourne, Australia.
I must say, that I was quite moved by the exhibit in itself and was wholly impressed with your thoughts you have so eloquently transcribed onto paper via various mediums whether it just be pen (to keep it simple) or to CGI graphics in your wonderful films.
I have a number of questions to ask you personally. As you must possess infinitely more artwork and scribblings in your place of dwelling, do you display them like so in your own home? I realise that this may be an idiot question of sorts, but if you do, then may I come live with you? I work in a coffee shop, and can pay you with perfectly weighted Cafe Latte’s every morning (if your coffee machine is up to par) and will endeavour to learn to cook you fantastic meals to your liking. If some day I will be able to draw as wonderfully as you, I do ask that you consider my request, as I am quite a clean and happy house guest.
I will be quiet and draw every night using your works as inspiration. Then, years later, people around the world will know you me as the Tim Burton protoge and I will take over the company you will build and one day, respond to a letter similar to this one and the Tim Burton experience will continue onwards into the future.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Aime.
